Baptism @GCC

What we believe about Baptism @GCC:

  • To follow the example of Jesus. (Markk 1:9)
  • Jesus commanded it. (Matthew 28:19)
  • It demonstrates you are a believer (an outward sign of an inward conversion). (Acts 18:8)
  • It illustrates Jesus Christ’s death AND resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
  • It illustrates new life in Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4)
  • Jesus was baptized this way. (Matthew 3:16)
  • Every baptism recorded in the new testament was done this way. (Acts 8:38-39)
  • Everyone who professes Jesus as lord and savior. (Acts 2:41)
  • As soon as you are saved! (Acts 2:41)
