Why should I be baptized?
- To follow the example of Jesus. (Markk 1:9)
- Jesus commanded it. (Matthew 28:19)
- It demonstrates you are a believer (an outward sign of an inward conversion). (Acts 18:8)
What is the meaning of baptism?
- It illustrates Jesus Christ’s death AND resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- It illustrates new life in Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4)
Why be baptized by immersion?
- Jesus was baptized this way. (Matthew 3:16)
- Every baptism recorded in the new testament was done this way. (Acts 8:38-39)
Who should be baptized?
- Everyone who professes Jesus as lord and savior. (Acts 2:41)
When should I be baptized?
- As soon as you are saved! (Acts 2:41)
